It was a pretty site quiet and host was really nice and helpful. Just loved it
Great trail system. They say the trails are closed except for Richardson creek 10mi. The others are closed because of some bridges but all trails are still good to go. Lots of ups and downs. Great wildlife and views. Long pants for the ticks.
Some things to note.....
-There is analog only Cell Service (Verizon).
We went to Clear Springs Recreation Area in Homochitto National Forest. It was perfect. Not too crowded. Very well kept and clean. Great play area for kids and excellent trails. We had a slip overlooking the lake. Lots of picnic areas if you don't have your own grill.
Pretty and very quiet spot for our one weeknight stay in October. The host was very helpful and friendly. Grounds and shower clean. The sites were fairly large and very well shaded. Separate primitive area for tents was isolated wirh large sites and lots of space between. A few sites have the picnic table on the wrong side for rhe usual camper layout, bit no big deal.

This place is a hidden gem. The host is really nice and the campsites are all around the small lake. Beautiful place to visit.
